Edit your profile

Your profile holds your personal details and app preferences. You can update them at any time from your account settings.

Open your account settings

1. Sign in to Acme.
2. Open the user menu and choose Account, or go directly to Settings → Account.

The Account page is split into two sections: Profile and Preferences.

Update your profile details

Under the Profile section you can edit:

• Avatar — your profile photo. See Upload an avatar for the details.
• First name
• Last name

Edit any field, then save your changes (see Save your changes below).

Set your preferences

Under the Preferences section you can change:

• Language — the display language for the app.
• Appearance — choose System, Light, or Dark.

Note

The appearance buttons preview the theme immediately, but the choice only sticks once you save. Until you do, you’ll see a reminder that the change isn’t yet permanent.

Save your changes

1. Make your edits in the Profile and/or Preferences sections.
2. Select Save Changes in the save bar.

A confirmation appears once your settings are saved. If you want to undo unsaved edits, choose Discard to revert to your last saved values.

What’s not here

A few settings that feel account-related live elsewhere:

• Email address is changed under Settings → Security.
• Password and two-factor authentication are under Settings → Security.
• Timezone, time format, and first day of week are workspace settings, not personal ones.
