Complete onboarding
The first time you sign in, Acme guides you through a short setup flow so your account is ready to use. You’ll add your name, name your organization and first workspace, and set a password. This guide walks through each step.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”Onboarding appears automatically on first sign-in — you’re taken to it and can’t reach the rest of the app until it’s done. The flow is a stepper with three steps; a progress indicator at the top shows where you are, and a Back button lets you return to a previous step.
Step 1 — Your profile
Section titled “Step 1 — Your profile”Tell us who you are.
- Enter your First name.
- Enter your Last name.
- Select Continue.
Step 2 — Your organization
Section titled “Step 2 — Your organization”Set up the organization and first workspace your account lives in. (For how these relate, see What is a workspace.)
- Enter an Organization name.
- Enter a Workspace name for your first workspace.
- Confirm your Timezone — it’s pre-filled from your device, and you can change it.
- Select Continue.
Step 3 — Set your password
Section titled “Step 3 — Set your password”Choose a password for signing in with email and password.
- Enter a Password.
- Select Complete.
When you finish the last step, you’re taken straight to your dashboard.
After onboarding
Section titled “After onboarding”Once you’re in, Acme may suggest a few first tasks (for example, creating a workspace or inviting your team). Open Onboarding tasks from your dashboard to see them — a badge shows how many are still open, and you can dismiss each one as you go.
