Create your account
Creating an account on Acme takes only a few seconds. You can sign up with your email address or, if available, with a social login provider. This guide covers both, plus the email verification step and what happens next.
Sign up with your email address
Section titled “Sign up with your email address”The sign-up form asks only for your email address — you’ll choose a password later, during onboarding.
- Go to the registration page at https://your-app.com and open the sign-up screen (the Sign up link).
- Enter your Email Address.
- Select Sign up.
- We send a verification link to that address. You’re taken to a Check your inbox screen confirming where the link was sent.
Verify your email
Section titled “Verify your email”Open the email from Acme and select the verification link to confirm your address.
- Didn’t get it? Check your spam or junk folder first.
- On the Check your inbox screen, use Resend verification email to send a fresh link. There’s a short cooldown between sends, shown as a countdown on the button.

Sign up with a social login
Section titled “Sign up with a social login”If Acme has social login enabled, you’ll see provider buttons beneath the sign-up form, under an Or continue with divider.
- On the sign-up screen, select the provider you want to use.
- You’re redirected to that provider to authorize Acme.
- After you approve, you’re returned to Acme and signed in.
If you don’t see any social buttons, social login isn’t enabled for this app. Sign up with your email address instead.
What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”The first time you sign in, you’ll complete a short setup flow — adding your name, naming your organization and first workspace, and setting a password. See Complete onboarding for the details.
