How rewards work
Rewards are a way to earn a discount on your Acme subscription. Each reward is worth a percentage, and once a reward is approved that percentage comes off your renewal. You manage rewards under Settings → Rewards.
What a reward is
Section titled “What a reward is”A reward is a discount your organization can earn by doing something — for example leaving a review, referring someone, or completing your profile. Each reward type carries its own percentage, shown next to it on the Rewards page.
Rewards belong to your organization, not to you personally. That means:
- A reward you claim benefits the whole organization’s subscription.
- Each reward type can be claimed once per organization — once it’s claimed (and not rejected), nobody else in your organization can claim the same one again.
How the discount applies
Section titled “How the discount applies”The discount applies to your subscription’s renewals — it reduces the amount charged the next time your subscription renews, not as a one-off refund on a past payment.
Only approved rewards count toward your discount. A reward that’s still waiting for review, or one that was rejected, doesn’t reduce your renewal until (and unless) it’s approved. For how a reward moves from claimed to approved, see Claim status.
The Rewards page shows a combined total at the top — the sum of your approved rewards’ percentages, which is what’s applied to your renewal. Approved rewards stack up to a cap, so claiming more rewards keeps increasing your discount until that maximum is reached.
Who can manage rewards
Section titled “Who can manage rewards”Rewards are an organization-level feature, so Settings → Rewards is available to admins and the organization owner. Other members won’t see it. See Roles and permissions.
